Palatial News - A Theater/ Journalism Program
High school and middle school students throughout the state receive complimentary tickets to a Palace Theater Education Series presentation, where they are given the opportunity to act as 'press.' Students sit in a press box, receive media badges, and when possible, interview performers, crew and audience members. All articles are collected and printed in the Palace Theater Journal, in addition to being submitted to local newspapers for possible publication. Students must submit a request proposal and a teacher recommendation to be considered.
