The Palace Theater, recorded in the National Register of Historic Places, has been fully restored to its original 1920's splendor, once again becoming one of the most striking performing arts spaces in the state. Designed by Thomas Lamb of New York, in a Second Renaissance Revival style, the ornate and palatial feeling of the Palace provides the perfect backdrop against which to host your event!

Types of Events: With its marbleized staircases, gilded domed ceilings, cut glass chandeliers and intricte plaster relief details, the Palace Theater is the Greater Waterbury area's newest and most distinctive reception facility, perfect for:

Webster Hall and The Palace Theater Stage

The newly renovated and restored Palace Theater offers a proscenium house with a 5,000 square foot stage that can accommodate elaborate, large-scale events, as well as those that are smaller and more intimate. Sit-down dinner: 250, Cocktail reception: 500.

Grand Foyer

Features the prominent marbelized staircases, cut glass chandeliers and plush maroon draperies cascading the original Hall of Mirrors. Sit-down dinner: 120, Cocktail reception: 250.

Orchestra Lobby

Newly created to offer an intimate view of the gold dome and cut glass chandelier. Sit-down dinner: 100, Cocktail reception: 200.

Mezzanine Lobby

A perfect location for entertaining with an opportunity to view the Grand Foyer and Orchestra Lobby from above. Sit-down dinner: 80, Cocktail reception: 150.

The Poli Club

For private functions that require more intimacy. Sit-down dinner: 65, Cocktail reception: 150.
